About this event

Would you like to help your students interpret your assessment task and perform to their full potential?

Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TiLT) aims to make higher education more accessible and equitable for students by removing barriers, particularly those that impact students who are first-in-family, who speak English as a second language, or who come from a disadvantaged background. Research on TiLT has shown that more transparency in teaching, and particularly in assessment, benefits all students, improving student confidence, performance and retention, and promoting metacognition and academic growth.

In this workshop, you will use a simple framework to apply the principles of TiLT to an assessment in your course without the need to completely redesign your assessment task. By the end of this workshop, you will have a more transparent assessment task, ready to use. Learn more about the workshop and the speakers here.
